If a given month’s fee is paid after the month has ended, a 20% late fine is added to that month’s fee. School fees must be paid in chronological order with any payment being credited to the oldest outstanding fees and fines.
Why do I have to pay school fee for December month?
Parents will be liable to pay the fees for the full academic year which can be paid in advance or on monthly installment basis. Since the fees are not pro-rated for the number of days in a month, the parent/guardian is liable to pay the full month fees regardless of the date of admission or withdrawal. The monthly school fees will not be waived off due to a student’s absence from school for personal or medical reasons. Fees for the full academic year is divided into 12 equal installments for the parents convenience.
What should I do if I want to withdraw the student from the school?
The school provides a sibling discount when multiple students with the same parent(s) attend either Kangaroo Kids or BHIS.
Each student listed in this application must have one or both parents in common.
The discount is available for the younger siblings. The second sibling will receive a discount of 10% of school fees. The third sibling, and any younger siblings, will receive a discount of 20% of school fees. The discount is applicable to the school fees only. Applications must be renewed at the beginning of each academic year to receive this discount.
Why do I have to pay for the remaining months if I want to withdraw the student after commencing the 4th Volume?
For any withdrawal application received after commencing the 4th Volume, parents will be liable for the remainder of the fees for that year . Upon return from the 2nd Mid-Term Holidays, students will be receiving books and resources for the remainder of the year. For withdrawals received after this date, the school will not be able to reallocate the remaining resources for the year and will have already incurred costs. Therefore, if you know that your student will be moving abroad or changing schools, please make sure to submit the withdrawal form before the commencement of the 4th Volume.
How can I arrange lunch for my child during school hours?
Parents have the following options to arrange lunch during school hours:
Option 1. Parents can send home-made lunch to school in food container with the student’s name label pasted on it .There is a special collection point near the entrance where parents can easily handover the lunchbox to our staff. We expect the lunch boxes to be received latest by 11;50 so that the boxes are delivered to the respective classrooms at lunchtime without any delay.
Option 2: For your convenience, Billabong High offers the option of pre-paying for lunch and have it delivered to your child on a regular basis. For lunch box delivery service, parent has to complete an application form and make the payments to the students’ respective campus. Payments will be collected in advance as a one off payment .
Option 3: Students also have the option of buying their lunch directly from the school canteen, which is also run by Shelbeans. This option is advised for senior grade students as parents have to give cash to the students to buy the lunch on their own.
